That’s why we’re excited to announce the rollout of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for all UniBee Cloud Version accounts. 2FA is a widely used technology adds an extra layer of security, requiring both your password and a time-based authentication code to log in. This means even if someone gains access to your password, they won’t be able to breach your account without the second verification step.
How 2FA Works on UniBee
Flexible Activation – Adapts to Your Workflow
We’ve designed a smooth transition to ensure minimal disruption:
- Sandbox (Test Mode): 2FA is optional—ideal for testing and familiarization.
- Live Mode (After Plan Purchase):
- First 7 Days: Voluntary setup—enable 2FA at your convenience.
- Day 8+: Mandatory 2FA setup upon login.
No need to track deadlines—we handle the timing automatically!
Easy 2FA Management
Navigate to My Account > 2FA Settings to:
- Enable or disable 2FA at any time.
- View active devices (name, IP, last login).
Remove trusted devices individually or all at once.
Hassle-Free Recovery Options
Lost access to your authenticator app? No problem. UniBee provides two secure recovery methods:
- Backup Key: Use a pre-saved key to reset 2FA instantly.
- Admin Assistance: Account owners can reset 2FA via the Admin Panel.
